About The Position

Picker packers are detail-oriented team members that fill orders in a warehouse setting. They help manage the warehouse inventory and package goods. In order to facilitate an efficient warehouse, a Picker Packer performs many different job functions. Picker packers are detail-oriented problem solvers who can think quantitatively and notice defects and errors quickly. When problems arise, they must be able to act quickly and decisively, Auburn has a fast-paced environment. In order to be successful, the Picker Packer also has great communication skills and is able to work as a team member with a diverse team of people in the supply chain.

Requirements

Excellent organizational skill and attention to detail
Ability to stand for 8+ hours daily, lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
Possess basic mathematical skill
Demonstrate quality verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with basic computer applications
Able to move quickly and effectively work in a fast-paced environment
Ensure all safety and security rules are followed
Organized and detail oriented
Possess effective communication skills
Ability to read orders and labels
Other warehouse duties as needed
