About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team, specializing in the packing and handling of garlic products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring garlic is sorted, packed, and prepared for shipment efficiently and accurately. This role plays a key part in maintaining the quality and timely delivery of products.

Requirements

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, packing, or food handling is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong focus on accuracy and quality during sorting and packing processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to take on additional tasks as needed in a dynamic work setting.

Responsibilities

• Sort garlic by size and quality, discarding any damaged or unusable items.
• Weigh, bag, and package garlic according to company standards and customer specifications.
• Ensure all packages are accurately labeled for shipping and inventory purposes.
• Track and record quantities packed, updating inventory systems as needed.
• Ensure all garlic products meet company quality standards before packaging.
• Follow all safety and hygiene guidelines, including proper handling of food products and equipment.
• Work with other warehouse associates to meet daily and weekly production goals.
• Keep the packing area clean and organized, disposing of waste materials appropriately.
