Requirements

  • Mandatory valid forklift operator certificate. ZXP will train and certify right team member.
  • Mandatory valid drivers license
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Math ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group presentations to customers, clients, and other employees of ZXP.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of software.

Responsibilities

  • Check inventory, find, and collect merchandise for shipping
  • Verify and record outgoing products
  • Prepare and load items for shipping
  • Load items as needed throughout warehouse
  • Operates powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries.
  • Moves pallets to and from warehouse, storage areas, machines and loading docks, into packaging lines, railroad cars or trucks and/or storage facilities.
  • Routinely: Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, lifting devices such as forklift, clamps, elevating platform, push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.
  • Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area.
  • Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
  • Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.
  • Weighs materials or products accurately, counts and records weight on tags, labels, and production schedules.
  • Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
  • Performs daily forklift checks.
  • Reads bill of material and stores containers.
  • Perform clerical task affiliated with shipping, receiving, and scheduling of products for plant
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned as needed.
