About The Position

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Pick Up and Delivery Driver. The Pick Up and Delivery Driver drives a company vehicle within the assigned area to pick up or transport parts as assigned. Requires skill in planning, organizing and scheduling parts pick-up and delivery requirements. SAFETY-SENSITIVE This position has been designated as a safety-sensitive position. Any person performing the position while under the influence of marijuana or any other illegal drug may constitute a threat to health or safety or in which a lapse of attention could result in injury, illness, or death, including without limitation a position that includes the operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring of heavy equipment, machinery, aircraft, motorized watercraft, or motor vehicles or handling of hazardous materials and/or waste as part of the job duties.

Requirements

Prefer parts related experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience dealing with the public in sales/service capacity.

Responsibilities

Picks-up and delivers parts as assigned, in the most efficient manner.
Assists the shipping and receiving clerk in checking in and stocking parts.
Ensures proper safety, care, and maintenance of company vehicles assigned to the Parts Department.
Maintains driving record within company requirements.
Maintains the fuel and maintenance log.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
