About The Position

The Pick, Pack, and Shipping Associate is an integral part of our Customer Service team, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of orders. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations by coordinating the picking, packing, and shipping processes with a focus on precision and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in pick, pack, and shipping operations, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and external partners.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and shipping regulations.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.

Responsibilities

• Order Coordination: Review incoming requests, prioritize fulfillment tasks and release pick tickets to warehouse team. Serve as key liaison between service advisor and warehouse team communicating order status, resolving discrepancies and collaborating with teams to maintain efficiency and delivery deadlines. Manage open orders using WMS, identifying and resolving delays, expediting at risk orders and coordinating with inventory team to minimize back orders.
• Order Fulfillment: Efficiently pick and pack parts and accessories according to customer orders. Ensure accuracy in selecting the right items and quantities for each order.
• Packaging and Labeling: Properly pack items using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit. Label packages accurately, including necessary shipping information.
• Shipping Coordination: Coordinate with carriers to arrange pickups and deliveries. Generate shipping labels and ensure proper documentation for domestic and international shipments.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on picked and packed items to maintain high standards. Address any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
• Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular cycle counts. Communicate low-stock situations to the appropriate departments.
• Communication: Collaborate with customer service to resolve any shipping-related inquiries or issues. Communicate with other departments to ensure seamless order processing.
• Safety and Compliance: Supports a Barletta Safe culture by adhering to and advocating for the safest behaviors and proactively identifies opportunities to mitigate job-related risks and hazards. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and guidelines.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in the pick, pack, and shipping workflows. Implement efficiency measures to enhance overall operations.
