About The Position

Pick and Pack Consolidator is responsible for the timely receiving, packing and shipping completed orders. This role will be expected to carry out all shipping functions as requested.

Requirements

• Must be able to drive a forklift and become certified.
• Computer knowledge.
• Attentive to detail.
• Scanning and sorting outgoing stock for accuracy and quality.
• Pulling, packing, and loading experience preferred.
• Receiving, stocking, and stacking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pulls and packs products based on daily orders.
• Meets specifics of customer orders on time with high quality.
• Keeps products separated, organized, and in good rotation and follows the lean FIFO practices.
• Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
• Operates various pieces of equipment (i.e. Palletizer, Dolly Loader, Pallet Wrapper, and Forklift, Electric pallet jack).
• Reports any mechanical problems.
• Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve Lean processes.
• Follows good manufacturing practices and required work safe practices with proper PPE.
• Packing incoming orders, Pulling inventory as needed and reporting shortages.
• Shipping orders in a timely manner and verifying correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area to meet OTD.
• Responsible for the accurate, complete and timely computer entries to insure the proper control of parts and products.
• Maintains a safe and orderly work area and practice 5S procedures in the assigned area.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
