Hedley’s Horizons is a busy, vibrant and varied environment that supports disabled adults with cerebral palsy, communication and sensory impairments and complex learning needs including those with Autism Spectrum Conditions. We have an exciting opportunity for a an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Therapy team working in Hedley’s Horizons (adult day services). We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Physiotherapist to join our team. You would become part of an existing, dedicated team of therapists who strive to deliver best practice at all times. With opportunities to shape a service to meet the ever changing needs of those we support. The post holder will be passionate about the benefits of teamwork and be dedicated to developing and supporting this within Hedley’s Horizons. We require a qualified and HPC registered physiotherapist with at least one year’s general experience to provide input to a caseload of individuals with complex physical, communication and learning difficulties. The focus is on a combination of individual and small group sessions delivered collaboratively and in an integrated way with the multi-disciplinary team. Rebound and hydrotherapy are strong features of the programme. There are good opportunities for CPD and clinical supervision. Rebound therapy and hydrotherapy are strong features of the programme. The successful candidate must be physically fit and well enough to safely deliver hydrotherapy sessions on a weekly basis. We are fortunate to have access to a state of the art hydrotherapy pool and excellent rebound therapy facilities This is a full-time role over 52 weeks. Annual leave entitlement is 33 days
