About The Position

The Physiology Technician I position is an on-call role that involves performing quality diagnostic electrocardiographic studies, recognizing gross abnormalities, and ensuring adequate and timely diagnostic reports. The technician will assist the cardiologist in performing other diagnostic studies as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three (3) months related clinical experience with patient care in a hospital, office, or nursing extended care.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and vital signs.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work and deal with people in stressful situations.
• Successful completion of a rhythm recognition program required within 4 months of hire and annual competency.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in cardiac monitoring.
