About The Position

Physicist, Lead Key Role: Leverage physics expertise to test and analyze physical phenomena to support S&T client challenges. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with limited oversight. Mentor or supervise junior staff in both company and technical competencies.

Requirements

11+ years of experience conducting systems engineering or research developing and advancing physics-based models for target defeat mechanisms and weapons effects
5+ years of experience with computational dynamics and modeling, including solving partial differential equations using numerical methods such as finite element, finite volume, and finite difference
Experience creating software tools that generate images with realistic, physics-based artifacts and qualities to support anomaly detection and classification
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Bachelor's degree in Physics or Applied Mathematics

Experience as a task lead on research and development projects
Experience with DoD agencies
Experience with military operations, biological command, control, communications, survivability, and hard target defeat
Knowledge of systems engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning
Knowledge of weapons control technology
