About The Position

How you make a difference The Physician is responsible for assessing and treating patients’ physical health including conducting exams and coordinating outside referrals. The role includes oversight of clinical care activities provided by ARNPs, documentation, and after-hours on-call responsibilities. This position performs minor procedures and collaborates with psychiatric and interdisciplinary staff to ensure integrated care. Physicians also educate patients and families, ensure compliance with safety procedures, and tailor treatment plans to the patient's age and development. Travel may be required depending on facility needs, and work is primarily in correctional or clinical settings.
