French Consulting is seeking an on-site Physician to support students at the Columbia Basin Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. In this role, you will provide primary medical services focused on early identification and diagnosis of medical problems, basic healthcare, prevention, and education—helping students overcome barriers to employability while supporting the Center’s overall Health and Wellness Program. What You'll Do On-Site Clinical Care Conduct initial physical examinations (intake) and develop medical treatment plans Provide written diagnoses and chronic care management plans for students with chronic conditions/disabilities. Provide health promotion education, prevention, and family planning education/support Establish an appropriate medical referral system for students requiring specialty or emergent medical care; recommend hospitalization and follow-up care when necessary Integration with Center Programs Coordinate and integrate medical services with other Center Health and Wellness components and activities Participate in Disability Accommodation Committee (DAC) meetings and file/applicant review team meetings during scheduled hours when requested Coordinate with other departments (residential, recreation, education, vocational training, student government, HEALS) to support integrated health promotion and education services Documentation Record all medical documentation in the Student Health Record (SHR) and Job Corps Health and Wellness forms in a timely manner (diagnoses, treatment/management plans, medications, each student interaction, and any recommended denials) Provide monthly reporting to the Center Director and Health & Wellness Director (HWD) on health-related matters (e.g., medical separations, justification/cost of special services, equipment repair/replacement needs, depletion of supplies/medications, and other appropriate topics) Who You Are A licensed Physician who can work both independently and as part of a healthcare team Comfortable providing care to a diverse population of financially disadvantaged youth and young adults (typically ages 16–24) Committed to efficient, cost-effective, contemporary evidence-based practice within available time and resources Organized and disciplined in clinical documentation, privacy, and compliance Qualifications Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted license to practice independently in Washington State Maintain all required licensing/certification/accreditation for contract duration Willingness to complete a criminal background check and drug testing Desired Qualifications Prior experience in school-based health, public health, community health clinics, or youth/young adult health settings Experience supporting behavioral health/substance use treatment coordination and chronic care management Familiarity with USDA Forest Service Job Corps Policy and Requirements Handbook (PRH) health services expectations and documentation practices Why You'll Love It Here 🎯Mission Impact – Help young people overcome health employability barriers and succeed in training and life skills programs 🏥Clinical Variety – Provide primary care, preventive services, chronic care management, and health education in a structured setting 📅Stable Schedule – Predictable weekly on-site schedule Ready to Join Us? Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted license to practice independently in Washington State
  • Maintain all required licensing/certification/accreditation for contract duration
