About The Position

Jefferson Health – Albert Einstein Medical Center is seeking a Physician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across a variety of clinical settings within the practice environment. Clinical responsibilities are determined by the Department and aligned with Jefferson Health’s mission to improve lives through exceptional care, education, and research.

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Successful completion of an accredited residency program
  • Fellowship training and/or additional specialty qualifications as required by the department
  • Board certified or board eligible in specialty
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • DEA registration
  • Maintain all required hospital privileges and certifications consistent with employment agreement

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, evidence-based medical care to patients in assigned clinical settings
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation to support medical billing and coding requirements
  • Participate in departmental administrative activities as designated by the Department Chair
  • Supervise and teach residents, medical students, and other trainees as appropriate
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental and organizational goals
