Riverside Medical Group is seeking a full-time, board-certified Physician to join our Advanced Outpatient Wound Care Clinic team at Riverside Regional Medical Center. Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership & Patient Care Provide comprehensive medical care for patients with acute and chronic wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, arterial and venous (or vascular) ulcers, trauma and burn wounds, post-surgical and pressure injuries, radiation injuries, and compromised grafts/flaps. Serve as the attending physician for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) patients, ensuring appropriate patient selection, treatment protocols, and safety compliance. Perform and oversee wound assessments, debridement procedures (sharp, enzymatic, autolytic), biopsies, and advanced wound therapies including advanced dressings, negative pressure therapies, CTP and blood derived dressings, Total Contact Casting and imaging technologies. Develop, implement, and oversee individualized wound care and HBOT treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines. Manage medical complications related to wound healing and hyperbaric therapy. Hyperbaric Medicine Oversight Provide medical oversight of hyperbaric chambers, including daily supervision of treatments and emergency preparedness. Ensure compliance with DNV, and institutional standards for hyperbaric medicine. Participate in hyperbaric safety committee activities and serve as a clinical resource for HBO-related issues. Review and approve HBO indications, documentation, and treatment continuation. Program & Operational Leadership Serve as physician-in-charge for the outpatient wound care clinic, collaborating with nursing, podiatry, vascular surgery, infectious disease, and other specialties. Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives Work closely with clinic administration to optimize clinic workflow, patient access, and operational efficiency. Support data collection and reporting related to clinical outcomes, quality metrics, and regulatory requirements. Education & Collaboration Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound prevention, treatment plans, and long-term management. Provide clinical education and mentorship to advanced practice providers, nurses, hyperbaric technologists, rotating medical residents and medical/nursing students. Collaborate with referring physicians and health system partners to ensure continuity of care, awareness of Wound Center operations and education and care plans including E-Consult and Secure Chat communication. Participate in Health System and Community education and information opportunities.
