About The Position

Covenant Health Urgent Care is dedicated to providing top-quality patient care to the Knoxville community. In partnership with Covenant Health, Covenant Health Urgent Care offers state-of-the-art onsite digital X-ray, EKG, and common laboratory assays 7 days per week, 8AM - 8PM. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine
• Board certified in Emergency Medicine OR prior clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care highly preferred
• Must be licensed by the State of Tennessee
• DOT certification required
• Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License required

Responsibilities

• Provide complete, compassionate care to all patients
• Serve as a role model and leader for that day's team
• Standard office procedures to include, but not limited to, incision and drainage, splinting, suturing, infection management, wound care and more
• Communicate test results, follow-up care, and other treatment plans as appropriate
• Supervising physician to advance practice providers (PAs or NPs)
