About The Position

Searching for a physician who is board-eligible or board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine and is experienced in primary care to provide on-site services full-time to the female population at this correctional facility. The schedule is weekdays (no evenings, weekends, or holidays) with start/end times that have some flexibility based on the needs of the facility. On-call coverage is not required. The assignment is projected to last at least 6 months but may be extended based on mutual agreement. The assignment could lead to permanent hire. Both a video interview and an on-site meeting/tour will be required. The following credentialing documents must be submitted: a comprehensive resume with education (with location and year of graduation), training, complete work history, an Ohio license, healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification, and board certification. A Drug Enforcement Administration certification should also be submitted as required for the assignment. If an offer is extended, the vendor must supply drug and TB test documents for review by the hiring manager at least 48 hours before the start date, or the start date may be postponed.
