About The Position

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to join our well-established practice. Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system with more than 36,000 employees and over 4,600 employed and affiliated physicians in over 90 medical specialties and subspecialties. It operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Southeastern United States. A New physician would be the sole Urologist coming on board with 1 NP. Our current Urologist will be retiring in 2024. We have two da Vinci Robots (XI and SI).

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
• Valid medical license to practice in the state.
• Experience with da Vinci robotic surgery is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Fellowship training in Urology.
• Experience in Navigated Prostate Biopsy, Blue Light for bladder cancer treatment, and Urolift for BPH.

Responsibilities

• Provide urology services to patients in a clinical setting.
• Perform surgical procedures as needed.
• Manage patient care and follow-up.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a multi-specialty environment.
• Participate in teaching opportunities for local family medicine residency program.
