About The Position

At NorthBay Health, the Board Certified, Licensed Urologist will practice in our highly regarded health system in Northern California. NorthBay Urology cares for male & female patients with urinary tract conditions and diseases affecting the male reproductive organs, this role will provide care to cancer cases and other large cases. Our team of board-certified experts employs a variety of treatments, from medications to minimally invasive and complex surgery in treating urologic conditions. NorthBay Health is ideally located between the San Francisco Bay Area Region, Napa Valley and Sacramento. With an abundance of recreation and leisure options Northern California offers residents the landscape for healthy active living.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified in Urology
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state
• Proven experience in urology procedures
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Perform minimally invasive and complex surgery for urologic conditions
• Provide patient education and counseling
• Diagnose and treat disease and disorders of the urinary tract and reproductive organs
• Provide care to inpatient outpatient and surgical patients
• Prescribes medications as needed and administers urinary antiseptics to combat infection
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, and educational activities
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
