About The Position

St. Luke's Cancer Institute seeks a BC/BE Urologic Oncologist to join our phenomenal team of extensively trained providers in Boise, ID. The practice offers the most advanced and comprehensive care in the region for urologic health. Services include robotic assisted surgery with access to the Xi platform, fusion prostate biopsy with UroNav, nurse navigators, research, and collaborative care pathways among providers. Our cancer center is comprised of medical and radiation oncology specialists, surgeons, onsite pharmacy and lab, and a wide range of support services, including social work, genetic counseling and integrative medicine. We are the largest cancer center between Salt Lake City and Seattle and have capacities often found only at major academic centers - SBRT, advanced endoscopy (EUS), EBUS, dedicated gynecologic, urologic, colorectal, hepatobiliary and thoracic surgical oncology, clinical research through the NCI's NCORP, and the state's only stem cell transplant program, including autologous and allogeneic. We are an American College of Surgeons Certified Cancer Program. Patients and their families have trusted St. Luke's Cancer Institute for 50 years.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urologic Oncology.
  • Completion of an accredited Urology residency program.
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with robotic surgery techniques.
  • Interest in clinical research and academic medicine.
  • Fellowship training in Urologic Oncology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive urologic oncology care to patients.
  • Perform robotic assisted surgeries and fusion prostate biopsies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of medical and radiation oncologists, surgeons, and support staff.
  • Engage in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of urologic oncology.
  • Educate and train medical students and residents.
