About The Position

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Urgent Care Clinics. Join our growing practice seeing patients at our eleven urgent care locations in the Minneapolis-St Paul area and surrounding suburbs. Practice Details: Join our team of 45+ urgent care providers. Our Maplewood location is our primary need at this time, with the potential to float to additional sites. Patient encounters average 20-30 patients per day in a 10 hour shift. Flexible FTE from .6 to 1.0 - Flexible schedule, weekend coverage is most needed. For a 0.8 FTE, total annual required weekend hours would equal 416 (with 811 total weekday hours). Annual requirement of 1227 hours total. No Call required. As a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), our physicians use a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care. Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC). Income Details: Competitive salary guarantee with ability to exceed based on an innovative compensation program. BC/BE with the ABMS or AOA. Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota. Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges if applicable.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency training program.
  • BC/BE with the ABMS or AOA.
  • Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
  • Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges if applicable.
