Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urgent Care Physician to join a collaborative, physician-led team in San Francisco. Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is a premier multi-specialty medical group made up of over 400 physicians practicing in the greater San Francisco service area. SWBMG works in partnership with Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation (SPMF), a non-profit organization providing care through its affiliation with SWBMG. Physicians work as a team to provide patient-focused care that encourages a sense of teamwork. SPMF provides physicians with an administrative infrastructure, allowing physicians to focus on patient care.

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency (Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or related specialty)
  • Board certified or board eligible

Nice To Haves

  • Urgent care, emergency medicine, or ambulatory acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of non-emergent acute illnesses and minor injuries across the lifespan
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic testing, including labs, EKGs, and imaging
  • Perform in-office procedures consistent with urgent care practice
  • Collaborate with and supervise Advanced Practice Clinicians in a team-based care model
  • Ensure timely referrals, escalation of care, and care coordination when needed
  • Practice within a highly respected, physician-led organization
