We are seeking a dedicated Physician to join our Urgent Care team. In this role, you will provide expert medical care for minor illnesses and injuries, ensuring that every family receives unsurpassed quality care. You will serve as a vital leader in the clinical setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to bridge the gap between primary care and the Emergency Department. Our Urgent Care Environment Expert Teams: You will work alongside pediatric-trained, board-certified physicians and specialized support staff. Comprehensive Services: Our clinics offer on-site X-ray services and clinical pathways for over 70 conditions (including asthma and diabetes) to ensure evidence-based care. Flexible Access: We provide care 365 days a year, including evening and weekend hours at our regional clinics in Bellevue, Everett, and Federal Way, and extended hours at our main Seattle campus. Requirements

  • MD Degree.
  • Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children’s and other sites as applicable.
  • Licensed as a Physician in the State of Washington or State within WAMI region.
  • Federal DEA Registration.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Prior to start of employment, must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment.
  • All medical and allied health professional staff members are provisional for the first year.
  • Any and all medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children's will terminate automatically upon the termination of the individual's employment at Children's.
  • Termination of employment does not prohibit the individual from seeking medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children’s as a non-employee in any category for which the individual qualifies.
  • Questions regarding medical or allied health professional staff privileges may be directed to Medical Staff Services.

Responsibilities

  • Medical Care & Coordination: Provide high-quality medical care in an Urgent Care setting.
  • Ensure seamless coordination of care between patients and attending physicians.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work in close partnership with nursing, pediatric specialists, surgical subspecialty services, and community physicians.
  • Patient-Centered Quality: Incorporate patient-centered care and rigorous quality standards into every interaction, ensuring services are integrated with Seattle Children's goals, vision, and philosophy.
  • Service Excellence: Ensure the quality of all patient care and service, acting as an advocate for the health and well-being of every child and teen.
  • Community Integration: Collaborate with ancillary health team providers and community-based organizations to support the child’s holistic health needs.
