About The Position
Explore an opportunity with The Wake Forest Health Network Urgent Care - Wilkes practice located in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. We are seeking skilled Physician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a physician who wants a comprehensive outpatient clinic including all ages treating minor burns or injuries, sprains and strains, coughs, colds and sore throats, allergic reactions (non-life threatening), rash or other skin irritations, broken bones and more. Must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Family Medicine or Urgent Care and experience treating pediatric patients. This PRN position is 16 hours per week. Physicians work to care for patients in a variety of ways, from treating chronic illnesses to advising about preventative healthcare. While physician specialties might vary, the commonality across specialties is that physicians primarily work to diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses. They often do this by performing physical exams, taking medical histories, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, and recommending a plan of treatment.
