About The Position

Essentia Health is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine physician for a casual position in our Urgent Care department located in Baxter, MN. This role involves working in beautiful new clinics in Baxter, Staples, and Deerwood, with typical staffing of 3-4 providers (APP and/or Physician). The casual schedule requires picking up a minimum of 4 shifts per month, with shifts being 12 hours on weekdays and 8 hours on weekends. Urgent Care hours are weekdays from 8 AM to 8 PM, and weekends from 9 AM to 4 PM. The position offers support from specialists and ancillary services, and the types of cases include pediatric, respiratory, injuries, and orthopedic cases, similar to office practice.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
• Acute Care/Urgent Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services to patients in a clinical setting.
• Manage a variety of cases including pediatric, respiratory, injuries, and orthopedic.
• Collaborate with specialists and ancillary services for comprehensive patient care.
