About The Position

Essentia Health is seeking a qualified candidate for an Urgent Care position at our beautiful new clinic in Baxter, MN. The typical staffing includes 3-4 providers, which may include Advanced Practice Providers (APP) and/or Physicians. The role requires flexibility to assist in Staples and Deerwood Urgent Care when necessary. The schedule includes working every third weekend, with shifts of 12 hours on weekdays and 8 hours on weekends. Urgent Care hours are from 8 AM to 8 PM on weekdays and from 9 AM to 4 PM on weekends. The position offers support from specialists and ancillary services, and the types of cases handled include pediatric, respiratory, injuries, and orthopedic cases, similar to those seen in an office practice.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
• Acute Care/Urgent Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services to patients in a clinical setting.
• Assist in staffing at Staples and Deerwood Urgent Care as needed.
• Manage a variety of cases including pediatric, respiratory, injuries, and orthopedic.
• Collaborate with specialists and ancillary services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
