About The Position

Total Access Urgent Care (TAUC) is seeking dedicated physicians to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in an acute care setting. TAUC is the leading urgent care provider in the Greater St. Louis community, delivering care since 2008. TAUC (pronounced 'talk') was founded and designed by emergency medicine physicians who believe that patients deserve access to fast, friendly, and affordable healthcare. Advanced diagnostic tools: Onsite CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound, EKG, and labs to provide a higher level of care. Flexible scheduling: +35 locations and growing in Greater St. Louis (Missouri and Illinois), and Kansas City. Requirements

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (with pediatric experience) preferred
• Licensed in state of practice
• Experience with procedures such as suturing and abscess I&D
• Experience with reading diagnostics studies, including X-rays and EKGs
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care highly preferred
• ACLS and PALS Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide a level of care that goes beyond the traditional urgent care setting
• Ensure comprehensive care for patients of all ages
• Perform procedures including EKG and X-ray interpretation, abscess incision and drainage, infection management, reduction of dislocations, splinting of minor fractures, laceration repair, IV hydration, and medication administration
• Serve as a role model and leader for the clinical team
• Communicate test results, follow-up care, and treatment plans
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers
• Work with an energetic, highly-trained support team, including many shifts with a scribe
