About The Position
Sutter Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Sports Medicine Clinician to help expand our innovative sports medicine program. This is a unique opportunity to be part of Sutter Health’s flagship Orthopedics and Sports Medicine destination center, a 120,000-square-foot, four-story facility opening in the heart of Sacramento. Designed as a one-stop destination for musculoskeletal care, the center will serve athletes across the spectrum — from youth and collegiate athletes to elite professionals and active adults — while delivering concierge-level care to the broader community. This role combines sports medicine practice, leadership in professional sports team coverage, academic involvement, research opportunities, and community engagement within a highly collaborative and collegial team environment. Requirements
- The applicant must have completed an ACGME accredited sports medicine fellowship and passed subspecialty sports medicine certification.
- The applicant must also have five years of post-fellowship active clinical experience.
- Prior exposure to professional team coverage either in fellowship or in practice is required.
- Will consider family medicine, internal medicine or physical medicine and rehabilitation candidates.
