Requirements

• Must be licensed by the Louisiana State board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine.
• Current BLS, and ALS certifications through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross.
• The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off (ALS required by specialty only).

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and medical direction for St. Tammany Physician's Network.
• Provides input in the development of standards of care.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients at St. Tammany Physicians Network in accordance with generally accepted standards of medical care for the specialty in which you are licensed.
• Participate in the development and support of St. Tammany Physicians Network.
• Maintain clinic schedules as noted in contractual agreement.
