About The Position

Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM) is a National Women’s healthcare organization whose core business is providing evidence-based treatment for persistent pelvic pain and Endometriosis with a patented, safe, in-office, ultrasound-guided procedure to the pelvis. Persistent Pelvic pain is common and affects 25% of women of reproductive age. Most of our female patients suffer from underlying Gynecological issues, Endometriosis being the most prevalent as it is a chronic disease that affects one in nine women and presents with pelvic pain and infertility. Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine was formed in 2017 and is headquartered in West Palm Beach, FL. Since its inception, PRM has experienced rapid growth and routinely attracts patients from across the US and internationally. As a Physician Assistant care to patients experiencing chronic pelvic pain and Endometriosis. Our proprietary ultrasound-guided procedural protocol is at the core of our treatment methodology, and you will receive comprehensive training to perform this office-based procedure with confidence and expertise. In addition to our office-based procedures, you will also be involved in our world-class surgical procedures, expanding your clinical skill set across both lines of care. Working alongside a team of top Gynecologists from across the country, you will have the opportunity to collaborate and learn from leaders in the field, further enhancing your skills and knowledge in women’s health.

Requirements

  • Board Certified Physician’s Assistant
  • Full licensure and a prescriptive authorization
  • DEA License
  • 3+ Years PA experience
  • Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited surgically focused PA Program
  • Completion of surgical residency for PAs (after attending PA school)
  • On the job training (after graduating from an ARC-PA accredited Program)
  • Able to obtain credentialing in hospitals where Surgeon will operate
  • Relevant State (see location) Medical License

Nice To Haves

  • Gyn experience a plus
  • Recent experience assisting in Operating Rooms with Robots

Responsibilities

  • Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM) has a proprietary ultrasound guided procedural protocol to treat Pelvic Pain and Pelvic Floor Muscle Dysfunction
  • All training is provided for the simple office-based procedure
  • Work with a team of top Endometriosis Specialists across the country
  • Multimodal, interdisciplinary, non-opioid functional restorative approach
  • Provide excellent, personalized patient care according to guidelines provided by practice
  • Assisting Surgeons during surgical procedures
  • Performing minor surgical procedures under the direction of the surgeon based on training and state regulations
  • Evaluate and manage both office-based procedural candidates and potential surgical candidates, providing guidance and coordination throughout their care journey.
  • Other duties as assigned.
