About The Position

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist. The position is located on the North Shore of New Orleans within St. Tammany Parish, with infusion suites located within Slidell Memorial Hospital. The role does not require hospital call and offers an integrated practice model with a strong internal referral network.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with rheumatic diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and others.
• Utilize the EPIC medical record platform for patient management.
• Participate in innovative initiatives for access to care including virtual direct to consumer visits.
• Collaborate with specialists throughout the Ochsner Health System.
