About The Position

Ochsner Health is seeking a renal pathologist to join our expanding pathology team. This position is for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Department of Pathology and Translational Pathobiology. The ideal candidate will actively participate in a diverse clinical service and engage in resident and fellow teaching. The position combines teaching, patient care, and possibly medical research, emphasizing leadership and guidance to residents and fellows. The role has potential as Renal Pathology Division Director and Renal/GU Pathology fellowship director depending on experience.

Requirements

  • Must be Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology.
  • Eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure.
  • Desire to actively participate in teaching and clinical service.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in leadership roles within a medical setting.
  • Interest in pursuing a position as Renal Pathology Division Director.

Responsibilities
