About The Position

The Physician Recruitment Coordinator contributes to the overall success of the Physician Recruitment Department by providing a high level of administrative support, customer service and project coordination throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in a healthcare recruiting or credentialing setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently coordinate recruitment/onboarding and move providers through the hiring and credentialing process.

Responsibilities

  • Launches, coordinates and tracks the credentialing and onboarding processes to ensure smooth and timely provider starts.
  • Gathers and provides the candidate's information for departments such as CVO, HR, MSO, Managed Care, Employee Health.
  • Assists in gathering credentialing documents as needed.
  • Communicates credentialing status to stakeholders.
  • Schedules employee health screens, launches background checks and shares results with medical staff.
  • Performs other tasks as required for onboarding.
  • Coordinates and communicates new hire and orientation tasks to include Epic testing and scheduling if needed.
  • Processes candidate expenses and recruitment meals for reimbursement after interview visit and house hunting trip.
  • Coordinates logistics of house hunting trips to include hotel accommodations, air travel, local transportation and appointment with realtor if needed.
  • Assists new hire with relocation process.
  • Maintains vendor relationships with local real estate agents, moving companies and lodging personnel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
