About The Position

The Physician Recruiter is responsible for managing all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle for physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in high-growth markets across the UF Health system, supporting the Northeast Florida region. Reporting to the Director of Physician Recruitment, this role partners closely with College of Medicine departments and administrative stakeholders to execute targeted recruitment strategies that support new site development, service line expansion, and long-term workforce planning. The position plays a key role in advancing a centralized, data-driven recruitment model while delivering a high-touch candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business-related field such as Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration required.
  • Certification within Physician & Provider Recruitment required within one (1) year of hire/transfer
  • More than three (3+) years' experience of full cycle recruitment
  • Excellent interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills to interact with a variety of personalities at all levels of the organization.
  • Business acumen/competence: sufficient understanding of physician recruitment landscape and elicit credibility with key stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience recruiting physicians/providers.
  • Strong ability to create and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience using commonly used computer applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience developing, managing and executing recruitment plans.
  • Experience developing and maintaining reports and metrics related to provider recruitment, identifying trends and making recommendations.
