About The Position

The Physician Recruiter will be responsible for physician recruitment activities for all service lines within the hospital and throughout the community as needed. The Physician Recruiter will be responsible to source, screen and interview viable physician candidates. The Physician Recruiter will understand various physician compensation models and negotiate offers appropriate to the physician and service line. The Recruiter will also manage the evening and weekend physician call schedules, as well as any locum staffing needs, to ensure there are no gaps in coverage. The Physician Recruiters will participate in operational planning of service lines as it relates to the recruitment function. This position will require frequent evening and weekend hours.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years in healthcare recruitment or sales.
• Current California Driver’s License.
• Eligible to be insured under the Medical Center’s Liability Policy.
• Proof of current auto insurance coverage.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, communication, or a related field.
• Experience in recruiting healthcare positions.
