This role is for a physician who wants to practice through providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Patients are seen in the office and hospital rounding is required. Maintenance of timely, accurate and detailed medical records using E Clinical Works (ECW), the Medical Center's office-based EMR is required. Prescribes medication or therapy when necessary, recommends lifestyle changes as appropriate to improve quality of life, explains all medical procedures thoroughly, and explains test results and provides patients with plan of care details. Consults with other doctors as appropriate about patient's specific needs, participates in tumor boards and multi-disciplinary clinics, serves on hospital Medical Staff and related committees when requested, seeks to improve patient satisfaction scores and team member goals, and participates in business development and marketing activities to grow the business.
