About The Position

The Department of Radiation Oncology at Lake Forest invites applications for a full-time radiation oncologist to join our multidisciplinary cancer care team. Position Summary: The selected candidate will provide excellent radiation oncology care, including diagnosis, patient consultations, treatment planning, and follow-up management. In addition the candidate will: Provide comprehensive radiation oncology services for patients with various cancer diagnoses. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, physicists, radiation therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Participate actively in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives and strategic planning. Ensure patient safety and quality care throughout the treatment process. Requirements

  • MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency.
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
