About The Position
Sanford Virtual Hospital is seeking a BE/BC General Psychiatrist to join the practice. This is a full-time, REMOTE opportunity focusing on General Psychiatry for adults aged 16 and older. The working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, with the possibility of a 4 x 10 schedule, provided core business hours are covered. The position is entirely outpatient and virtual, with no call responsibilities. Psychiatrists will see patients who join their sessions remotely from their home devices, eliminating the need for in-clinic appointments. The psychiatrist can work virtually from home in several states, although some exclusions apply. The group currently includes three Master's level therapists and is in the process of recruiting a fourth. Note that there is no virtual LP available, and psychological testing will be referred to the nearest Sanford Psychologist. The expected patient volume is 13 patients per day, with 60 minutes allocated for new patients and 30 minutes for rechecks.
