About The Position

The Wahpeton Clinic is seeking a psychiatrist to provide adult psychiatry services (age 18+) in an outpatient clinic setting, with the ability to see patients under age 18 if desired. The position includes no call obligations and offers outreach opportunities to support skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities locally and via outreach. Telemedicine services may be utilized in the future. Appointment times include 15-30 minutes for medication checks and rechecks, and 60 minutes for new patients. The clinic has a diverse team including Family and Internal Medicine, LICSWs, Chiropractic, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Optometry, General Lab, Pulmonary, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and many visiting specialists. The service area covers a 50-75 mile radius, and the team prides itself on quality and service.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Desire to lead and build the Behavioral Health department
