At NorthBay Health the Board Certified, Licensed Primary Care Physician will practice in our highly regarded health system in Northern California. We know that getting care when you need it is important to you so we offer same-day appointments and give you options for after-hours appointments for minor illnesses and injuries. NorthBay Health is ideally located between the San Francisco Bay Area Region, Napa Valley and Sacramento. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Outpatient only Call Ratio : Balanced call ratio split between physicians and sites Daily Patient Census: 18 patients per day Equipment/Resources: Access to state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive resources Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Requirements

MD or DO degree
Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California
Proven experience in a primary care setting
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment
Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition
Monitors lab results, medication adherence and medication toxicities
Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
Explain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatment with the patient
Refers patients to medical specialists when necessary
Represents the practice at Hospital committees in such a manner that the burden of attending the meetings is reasonably distributed among all of the physicians in the group
Collaborate and manage APPs
