About The Position

Community Health is seeking a Family Practice Physician to work at our clinic in Rutland, Vermont. Physician candidates are expected to be knowledgeable and skilled in the delivery of primary care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Empower patients to take an active role in health maintenance and promote wellness behaviors, provide appropriate patient follow-up and communicate effectively with patients, refer patients to specialty care as necessary, provide clinical supervision to mid-level providers and nursing staff, participate in quality assurance activities, and participate in State and National disease collaborative efforts.

Requirements

  • Favorable completion of college, medical school, internship, residency and possibly fellowship
  • Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Vermont required
  • Possesses and maintains current Board Certification within practicing specialty required
  • Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification
  • Doctors of Medicine (MD) and Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) accepted
  • Strong inpatient skill set
  • Quality-focused team player
  • Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Responsibilities
