IMC is currently hiring a Physician Practice Specialist, for the IMC Family Practice Clinic, who under the general supervision of the practice supervisor, is required to have knowledge to perform all roles in the front clerical office which includes but not limited to: Answer phones and take detailed messages Greet and/or assist patients Knowledge of Practice Management System (Caretracker) Checking in/out of patients Input Demographics Verify Insurance Collection of co-pays/coinsurances Knowledge and Input of billing Closeout/Balance Charges and payments at the end of clinic Scheduling patients with referring physician offices Assist in other clinics as directed by supervisor Assist in training of new employees. EDUCATION High School Diploma Certification from a billing/coding program preferred TRAINING/EXPERIENCE Minimal one-year commutative working experience in some type of billing and coding position if possible. Must have had exposure in previous jobs with working and communicating with the public as a customer. Medical practice background preferred. At least 3-5 years previous experience in the filing and collection of Medicaid rules and regulations. Requirements

  • High School Diploma

Responsibilities
