About The Position

The Physician Practice Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations and strategic growth of a medical practice. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare practice management or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and healthcare compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and practice management software.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration.
  • Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) or similar professional certification.
  • Experience managing multi-specialty physician practices.
  • Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies and patient experience initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the physician practice, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of administrative and support staff.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, insurance companies, and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Analyze practice performance metrics and prepare reports for senior leadership.
  • Facilitate communication between clinical and administrative teams to support seamless operations.
  • Drive initiatives for practice growth, including marketing and community outreach efforts.
