About The Position

Corewell Health Medical Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate PM&R physician who has completed an interventional pain fellowship to practice in beautiful Ludington, Michigan. We are excited to expand services along the lakeshore and this practice will be an extension of the multidisciplinary spine care group in Grand Rapids. Due to the outreach nature of this location, the ideal candidate is an experienced PM&R/Pain physician who is also skilled in EMGs. We are unable to consider anesthesia pain trained physicians as EMGs are required. Select Practice Highlights: Four day work week Excellent support and referral base EMGs with dedicated technician Practice located on hospital campus Physical Therapy onsite Radiology onsite About Ludington Hospital: Corewell Health Ludington Hospital is a 49-bed acute care hospital located in Mason County along the shore of Lake Michigan. Ludington Hospital offers a full range of services, including inpatient medical, surgical, step-down, obstetrical and critical care units. Outpatient services include a full-service laboratory; cancer and hematology services; a full complement of medical imaging diagnostic services, included advanced CT and MRI; a tasteful and private Women's Imaging Center complete with 3D mammography, bone density testing, and pelvic and breast ultrasound; comprehensive cardiopulmonary services; rehabilitation services, including cardiac, pulmonary and cancer rehab, in the area's most comprehensive rehab facility; and an array of outpatient surgical procedures. In addition, Ludington Hospital has a 24-hour emergency department with all-private treatment rooms, plus a "FastER track" service for the treatment of minor illness and injuries with minimal wait times. Specialties on our medical staff include general and vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery, pediatrics, ENT, oncology and hematology, emergency medicine, urology, family medicine, internal medicine, anesthesiology, radiology, pathology, ophthalmology and obstetrics & gynecology. Requirements

  • MD/DO
  • Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (BC/BE)
  • Fellowship in Interventional Pain (BC/BE)
  • Michigan Medical License & DEA (or ability to obtain)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
