About The Position

Sanford Clinic is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship trained plastic surgeon to partner with and complement our strong, comprehensive surgical team. The position involves a call schedule of 1:3 and serves patients of all ages. The practice encompasses hand, OMF including mandibles, breast reconstruction and flaps as follow up to trauma and wound care along with aesthetic plastic surgery. The role benefits from a large referral base spanning Western ND and offers a teaching/academic setting available within the UND School of Medicine, fostering a culture of innovation and supportive administration.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Completion of a hospital affiliated Plastic Surgical residency program accredited by ACGME, AOA, or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
• Current subspecialty certification in plastic surgery by the America Board of Plastic Surgery or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery.
• Demonstrate active involvement in at least 200 Plastic Surgery procedures in the last 24 months.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations.
• Admit, evaluate, diagnose, and provide nonsurgical and surgical care to patients of all ages presenting with illnesses, injuries, and disorders.
• Repair, reconstruct, or replace physical defects of form or function involving the skin, musculoskeletal system, cranio-maxillofacial structures, hand, extremities, breast and trunk, and external genitalia.
