Physician - Plastic and Reconstruction (Microvascular) Unaccredited Fellow The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Plastic, Burn and Wound Surgery, is seeking a microsurgery fellow to join our team in providing compassionate, high-quality care to our community. This role includes providing patient care in plastic, burn, and wound surgery, with a special focus on the treatment of complex microsurgery, including breast, lymphedema, head & neck, and extremity. You will initially spend your time providing clinical care and related services, including both outpatient and inpatient care of plastic surgery patients, as well as performing surgical procedures. The role includes teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, with active participation in the educational process at both a local and national level. The faculty member will also be involved in clinical and/or translational science research, depending on interests and departmental needs. In addition, the position requires attending the annual American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery meeting and participating in the Fellowship Round Table. The microsurgery fellow will serve under the supervision of the department of plastic, burn, and wound surgery microsurgery fellowship director.
