Sanford Health has an immediate opening for a BC/BE Physiatrist to join their team of Physiatrists and advanced practice providers in Fargo, ND. • • Sub-specialty interests are welcome • • Full-time outpatient practice, includes coverage of inpatient acute rehab and hospital consults • • Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm + call • • Subspecialist's service population is over 1 million • • Strong collaboration with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech, social workers, case management, RNs, and LPNs. Practice works closely with hospitalists, neurologists, urologists, etc. • • Sanford Health South University Medical Center rehab unit is a 21 bed CARF accredited unit with average daily census 17.4. We serve adolescents and adults in both general rehab and brain injury. • Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center The Fargo-Moorhead and West Fargo metro area is a diverse, family-oriented community of 250,000 people that offers high quality of life and low cost of living. Physical Medicine and Rehab Core Privileges include the ability to perform history and physical examination, admit, evaluate, diagnose, and provide consultation and nonsurgical therapeutic treatment to inpatients and outpatients of all ages with physical impairments or disabilities involving neuromuscular, neurologic, cardiovascular, or musculoskeletal disorders. Examples of these disease process would include but are not limited to: cerebral palsy, stroke, MS, spina bifida with paraplegia or paraparesis, arthritis, Parkinson’s disease, rehab care of amputations, collagen disease, tissue disorders such as burns and ulcers, hemiplegia from CVA or other causes, traumatic brain injury or spinal cord trauma.
