Marshfield Clinic – Rhinelander Center is in search of a part-time or full-time BC/BE General Pediatrician to join its established practice in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. No call position. We strongly encourage our physicians to be involved in medical education and research to continue building our strong foundation of patient care, research and education for years to come. Located in Oneida County, home to approximately 8,000 residents, Rhinelander boasts 230 freshwater lakes within twelve miles of the city. Enjoy all four seasons by going out on your boat, kayak or canoe during the warmer months, and experience snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice-fishing or snowmobiling during the winter. Need to get out of town and explore? There are plenty of options that are just a short driving distance away from Rhinelander. You can easily take a daytrip to enjoy bigger community attractions without the inconvenience of living there. Or when it is time to go on a longer trip, you can conveniently take advantage of the city’s airport. Pediatric Core Privilege include the ability to admit (if applicable to setting), evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients from birth to young adulthood (21 years of age) concerning their physical, emotional, and social health as well as treating acute and chronic disease, including major complicated illnesses. Core privileges may also include providing care to patients in the intensive care setting in conformance with unit policies. In addition, applicants may assess, stabilize, and determine the disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services.
