Requirements

• LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - State of Michigan required upon hire.
• LIC-Physician (MD) - State of Michigan required upon hire.
• CRT-DEA Registration - State of Michigan required upon hire.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association required within 90 days.
• CRT-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association recommended within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor the medical needs of patients and their families.
• Provide quality medical services in a cost-effective manner and ensure coverage of the case load at all times.
• Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to medical practice and quality patient care.
• Oversee Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and others providing delegated services to patients.
• Evaluate educational needs of patients, parents, and staff, and develop appropriate teaching strategies.
• Document patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services.
• Act as a patient and family advocate.
• Participate in ongoing process improvement activities through clinical paths and related initiatives.
• Work with Corewell Health to meet financial and patient satisfaction goals.
