About The Position

The West Virginia University School of Medicine is seeking a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join its growing division at the Pediatric Blood & Cancer Center in Morgantown, WV. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care while also engaging in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. This position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art Children's Hospital that includes a dedicated Cancer Center and a comprehensive range of pediatric services.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Eligibility for state medical license.
• Completion of a pediatric residency program.
• Completion of a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship program.
• Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a pediatric trauma center.
• Familiarity with pediatric cardiac surgery programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in the growth and development of the Pediatric Blood & Cancer Center.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
