Visas Accepted N/A Specialty Pediatrics - Endocrinology Practice Details Sanford Health is currently seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our expansive pediatric specialty team at Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. Join a team of 2 Board Certified Pediatric Endocrinologists, our pediatric dietician, and 6 certified diabetic educators • Clinic-based practice with hospital consults throughout the Children's Hospital (NICU, Peds, PICU) • Full array of endocrine conditions including thyroid, diabetes, and growing number of transgender patients • Collaboration with our on staff pediatric psychologist specializing in gender dysphoria • Integrated behavioral health imbedded into clinic • Outreach to regional Sanford clinics • Largest team of more than 65 board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists in the region • Region’s only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center • Sanford Medical Center houses a 12 bed PICU, with additional flex beds if needed. Job Description Pediatric Endocrinology Core Privileges include the ability to perform history and physical examination, admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate diagnose and provide treatment or consultative services to infants, children and adolescents and young adults presenting with illness and disorders of the endocrine systems, including by not limited to diabetes mellitus, growth failure, unusual size for age, early or late pubertal development, birth defects, defects of the genital region, and disorders of the thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary glands.
