About The Position

Allied Physicians Group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician to join their team in a Telemedicine role, supporting after-hours patient care. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide meaningful clinical support to families while working in a structured, remote environment with strong organizational backing. It is ideal for a physician who values flexibility, is comfortable with independent decision-making, and has experience managing a broad range of pediatric concerns, including behavioral and mental health-related calls. Founded in 2006, Allied Physicians Group is one of the largest private Pediatric medical partnerships in the New York Metropolitan Area, comprised of more than 150 Caring Pediatric Providers. Requirements

  • MD or DO (Physician only)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Active New York State Medical License
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in a remote setting
  • Ability to make sound clinical decisions in an after-hours environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in outpatient pediatrics or urgent care settings preferred
  • Comfortable managing a wide range of pediatric concerns independently
  • Experience or comfort with pediatric behavioral and mental health-related calls strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote clinical care and guidance via telemedicine for pediatric patients and families
  • Assess, triage, and manage a variety of acute and non-urgent pediatric concerns
  • Address after-hours calls, including general pediatric and behavioral health-related inquiries
  • Provide clinical recommendations, reassurance, and appropriate follow-up guidance
  • Escalate cases as needed and coordinate care with primary providers when appropriate
  • Document patient interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR)
